Mrs. Hall doesn’t look too keen to be the focus of Siegfried’s attentions here – this was always his ploy to get her to surrender the basket to him.  Siegfried was found in a ditch with a broken hip and jaw.  The person who rescued him took him to a vet clinic where they operated to fix him up (which explains the strange haircut).  He was soon the clinic favourite because he was just so friendly and happy, despite his severe injuries.  When we heard about this special little cat from a friend who worked at the vet clinic, we just had to adopt him.   He was my best friend for the rest of his life.  You can read more about Siegfried’s story at this link.
